Our founder, Mr Kumaar Bagrodia, was interviewed by CNN News18 discussing 'Will AI Outperform Human Therapists?'

The prevalent research around the mass adoption and evident success of AI in therapy vs humans made the task quite simple.

Within 2 years of being used by consumers, AI is meeting or exceeding benchmarks in emotional intelligence, empathy and with a huge amount of data to train on, is getting very good at the 'science' component of therapy. No wonder that the top 3 use cases of AI in 2025 are around therapy, companionship, organising their lives, and finding purpose.

Of course, there are a few limitations for now in case of emergencies, extremely complex cases and around data & ethics. On the other hand, the higher quality, no-judgment feedback, larger experience base of AI, 24/7 availability, no stigma, and sheer scale, along with the cost (virtually free), that users are experiencing, is what has drawn them to it.

The final argument from therapists about irreplaceable 'human touch' of the therapist (let's say the 'art' component of therapy) is quite interesting: Is this 'human touch' taught as part of their qualification? 'Do we humans need a professionally licensed person to deliver that to us? Are our parents, siblings, whom we have grown up with, and friends, relatives, coworkers, teachers and others in society we meet and interact with, incapable of doing that? Whilst some licensed professionals would like us to believe that, I don't think so'.
